Trump

Shall I compare thee to the film of scum

That sits atop of my cold cup of tea.

A mem’ry of what might have been

If common sense had killed your Trumpery,

How could something so unpleasant

Remain to sully the good things below

By each sip it makes us all resent

What should be honourable, on show,

And now this film of discontent

Is mirrored in extremist lands,

Used to denigrate good efforts spent,

While we, subdued, sit upon our hands,

Where is the leadership once seen?

Replaced, now, by this character obscene.
